Quirky, small flat in victorian Fire Station
(I am open to short term let’s, Longer term lets, and Monday to Friday let for a cheaper price.
I am a 33-year-old man who works in the film industry, paying the bills as a writer and video editor, which means I am at home a fair bit during these gigs, but I often go to workspaces. I would rather somebody who isn’t always home, but that doesn’t mean I expect you never to be here.
I'm pretty relaxed about most things. I'm a nonjudgmental person who wants to live comfortably in a comfortable environment. We shouldn’t have any issues as long as you’re not messy, inconsiderate, or overly loud. That said, I also want you to feel comfortable, as it'll be your home.
I've lived alone here for 2.5 years now (I lived with a mate for a year before that). Once he moved out, I turned his small room into an office for myself (as pictured). The room currently has a double bed and an open plan wardrobe. I’ve had someone in that room for the past few months and it’s been absolutely fine. It was a very short term let whilst they worked on a project in the city so they are leaving at the end of May. I’ve said they’ll make it look nicer for me to take pictures so I’ll be able to upload some soon.
It is a very bright room with huge windows. However, it is worth noting that it is not a big room. You'll be able to put things under your bed, and you'll have space in the wardrobe; however, the living room is right by it and very cosy.
I have Netflix, Disney, now TV, and Amazon Prime. I also have a high-quality TV with surround sound, a bath, and a shower so that you can access some nice comforts. The building itself is very old, and there are signs of that, but it’s got a lot of character, and I’ve been lucky enough to have very relaxed neighbours. There is even a little outdoor area on our floor.
Due to the room size, I'm only asking for £695 towards the flat, and I'll cover all other bills, including council tax. I am open to someone coming in as a Monday to Friday let, a short-term let or longer, depending on the situation and who it is, so get in touch and be honest about what it is you’re hoping for and looking for in a place in London and I’ll tell you whether it’s something that is possible.
If you have any questions or queries, do not hesitate to get in touch.
